In 2025, HOP3 Consulting continued to support Knauf Insulation in the decarbonisation of its glass wool production site in Visé, Belgium.
Over the year, we completed the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) feasibility study for the site, while also exploring different opportunities for Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU). This work focused on technical robustness, realistic deployment pathways, and alignment with long-term climate objectives.
In parallel, we also supported Knauf Insulation in its public affairs efforts, contributing to a fact-based advocacy aimed at securing fair and adequate public support in Belgium, aligned with the levels of support available in neighbouring countries.
This project is a truly hands-on and applied collaboration, grounded in concrete industrial realities. It reflects our commitment to supporting credible, effective decarbonisation pathways for energy-intensive industries.
